I retract my previous statement and say that this is definitely better.
A couple of suggestions to consider:
- The flute(ish) piece seems a bit on the loud side to me.
- The entry of the flute part is very stark, i'd have been tempted with a less aggressive opening note. Similarly at 2:05.
- I wonder if the delay on the flute might work better if panned to the other side?
Still a very enjoyable listen. :)

Re: Enough Feeling?
Thanks to everyone for their comments. They've made a significant difference.
I've reduced the filter resonance on the synth sound a little so it's a bit less sharp, reduced its volume, reduced the velocity of a few notes that stuck out, and added pickups in the places suggested by Drew and CS70.
Changing the timing of the synth as a whole didn't work - if it's on the beat it sounds soulless, if it's behind the beat it sounds wrong. I've altered the timing of a few notes though.
Here it is, hopefully the final version. I suspect a little compression will be added in mastering.

Yes! Very nice how it merges with the piano while staying perfectly audible when one focuses on it... it's the rule of thumb of a well mixed instrument. Good job!
