Hardware choice help

Postby lorenzogalimberti » Sun Apr 18, 2021 5:42 pm

Hi everyone, I'm 23 from Parma, Italy and I love doing electronic music production with FL Studio.
Recently I've been searching for the right hardware that could fit my bedroom, for mixing & mastering, what will you do with a small bedroom?

Benvenuto Lorenzo!

Any modern interface will more or less do. Check the number of channels you need - with EDM, you aren't gonna record much I guess, so probably a two channel interface will work fine.

For monitoring, in that room I would use headphones :)

Oooo! I bet P&H are hissed! In 'ordinary' times they would have loved a junket over to Italy to do an SOS SOS!

Cynically jesting,

Dave.

Yes, a challenge, how to build a studio into the smallest space.
I built my studio into a wardrobe once, it was about the width of a five octave keyboard, I had my DX7 in there, a small mixer, a rack of effects and synths, and a small pair of monitors, it measured about a metre by two metres, I put one of those bamboo blinds over the front, it made the OP's space look like the Albert Hall.
