Acustica Nebula N4 is on a flash sale this weekend. Anyone used this particular version of it? I briefly tried Nebula 3 yonks ago and couldn't get to grips with the workflow though I was very impressed with it sonically.

At this price it's a bit of a bargain. There are some outstanding libraries available for very modest sums from Tim P, Cupwise, London Acoustics etc.

Downsides - the installation of libraries is a little antiquated for 2021. having to manually place files in correct folders feels clumsy, but you only do it once or twice and it's straightforward enough. Nebula 4 is yet to get the update to the Core17 fixes so, unlike all the other Acustica Acquas, it will still cause Cubase to freeze on exit on many systems.

It's all worth it for the sound, which, on the best libraries, is as good as everyone says it is.
