Can anyone recommend any particular makes of duplication towers? I'm looking for three way and upwards, budget of up to about £800. Must have an internal hard drive, and be able to manually select write speed. Other than that, I'm open to suggestions / advice.
Thanks,
Sheriton

Re: CD/DVD duplication towers
Mediaform and Microboards are probably the longest established players in this market. I've gone the DIY route using Feurio Professional and a couple of standard CD writers. This works fine for audio CD's but I don't think it will work for DVD's.
Cheers
James.

To be honest, I hate towers
You have to sit beside them and keep feeding them - no thanks
I have been looking at the Primera range - namely the Bravo II.
You load 25 (or 50) discks and it duplicates, tests and prints while you have your supper (or overnight, or whatever) - totally unattended.
Price is a little over £1,000, though. But unattended operation and prints as well - it seems the best option.
there are several versions, including a rack mount and Blu-Ray duplicator, which is why I also linked to the main site.

I think that's the wrong link John - You've linked to one that prints but doesn't duplicate.
$2700 for the DVD version is a bit more than I can afford though it does look like a good solution. The printing would be nice to have but isn't essential.
The reason I was planning on going down the tower route is that most of the time I only need to run off 4 - 8 copies so repeated feeding isn't really an issue. The main use would be in duplicating TV programmes recorded off air (under the ERA licence) so it has to be a duplicator rather than a burner connected to a computer.

Re: CD/DVD duplication towers
I have seen these CD or DVD duplication towers available in some hardware vendors and are quite expensive, like $ 1,800 for a unit of 7.8 bay!

Re: CD/DVD duplication towers
I have a Bravo II,great solution.
Prints directly on the disks, hands free, can do up to fifty at a time.
The Bravo II is out of production now, go to the Primera site for details.
I use it for short run EPs and demos and DVDs from my event video business.

G-Dub; this thread looks like it has been necro'd by a spammer. Last post was 2006!
