After a summer sabbatical, we hear from Si Connelly, a supremely talented singer/songwriter who’s been signed to some huge labels, toured extensivly and recently raised money for charity walking coast to coast across England.

Episode 25 speaking to Gwenifer Raymond, a supreme talent in the American Primitive / Fingerpicking world with two tremendous albums under her belt - the latest of which she recorded entirely on her own at home. We spoke about how she started out with the guitar, playing alongside the American primitve greats and the uncanny valley feeling of streamed live performances.

midierror meets… Episode 26 with Jake McNeill, who’s worked in music for 28 years managing Mauro Picotto for 9 years, as well as Azzido Da Bass, Mauro Piu, York, Mark Spoon, Joy Kitikonti and Da Hool. He later moved into band management working with the hugely successful Scouting For Girls who released numerous hit singles and albums.

He's been composing and performing music on Nintendo Gameboys and NES consoles for over 20 years and is the co-founder of 8bitpeoples, a digital netlabel focused around all forms of chipmusic. We spoke about his early influences, rejecting obsolescence and intended uses, how chiptune is punk and his latest set of releases, which include creations going back over a decade.
