Exciting times. Download about half done. I'll be dual-running and completing current work on 9.5 until I'm convinced its stable.

Audio alignment. Oh yes! Today is a good day... :)

Yeah I saw that, the mixconsole snapshots look handy as well...
...wish they'd allow you to 'dock' the full mixconsole, into the lower pane. I just can't get on with flicking around on those 3 little icons on the left....

And support for 4K, may hopefully save my ageing eyes a little

An hour and a half in, and I *still* can't even see the Steiny web page with the update details on it - I had to go to a random guy's YouTube video to see what was new... :headbang:

Yeah, well don’t get too excited. Once you’ve downloaded, the license server is getting so hammered you won’t actually be able to upgrade your license to use the thing....

Given up....

Outbreak of smugness

Downloaded in half an hour, licenses upgraded. All working.

But now I wait until everyone else has done the beta testing for me...

Agreed, it took three goes to get the license upgraded, but it did it eventually.

That once again reminds me why I love Reaper - its total download size is currently 11MB

Fair point, although it did mean I sat and actually played guitar for 90 minutes which was nice. Maybe not so nice for my neighbours though....

Also, I'm getting too old to learn yet another DAW. I've been a Cubase user since Pro-24 so I'm playing the "better the devil you know" card!

I love Reaper for what it is. I'm a fully paid-up user and I do use it, but Cubase really is a different beast and plays a different game.

Horses for courses is truly where it's at.

The new VariAudio is fantastic. The one thing that used to catch me out all the time was being in the wrong mode - segment or correct - now that is gone. No more dragging a note length when I meant to edit a segment. Bliss!

Where is Groove Agent SE 5? My upgrade to Cubase 10 only had Groove Agent SE 4!

Did this happen to anyone else?

Just as I was beginning to like C10... :(

They removed all of the useful stuff from the right-click context menu. Reports suggest they 'cleaned it up' to contain only the 'most used' items... Funny, I've never once used the 'Create Sampler Track', but it's now in there while all *my* most used options have disappeared. Hmmm...
