I'm struggling to make sense of the information about this one. Does it have built-in sound generation like the Deluge, or is it only a sequencer?

It's just a sequencer/controller. One of the selling points is that it offers CV as well as MIDI. It also features velocity/pressure pads.

That should make it a bit simpler to use than Deluge. I do like Deluge, but the sheer number of obscure button presses to get things done is too much for my mind to take in. When I use it I need the manual with me at all times.
