Searchable mp3 tagging

Does anyone know of a piece of Mac/Windows software that can be used to easily tag mp3s with Genre and Sub genres?

Plus mood words such as 'happy', 'aggressive' etc. so that mp3s can be searched using those tags?

The sort of thing found in Libraries.

I use this: https://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Main_Intro.php

and/or this: https://www.mp3tag.de/en/

For that sort of stuff.

Don't know if they'll meet your requirements, but thy work for me. :)

That's the one I use. If it can't do it probably can't be done!

Many thanks to both of you for those great suggestions.

The Bulk Rename Utility (snappy name) looks good. It looks like there are windows that could be used for 'mood words'.

The downside is that it's only for Windows. It needs to be compatible with Mac as well.

We're putting a catalogue together of hundreds of artists' tracks, eventually thousands. We need something for the artists to use to fill in their own metadata, genre, sub genre etc. and mood words that describe the track.

Then use those words, along with the genre and sub genres enabling visitors (or us) to search for compatible tracks.

We're trying to avoid the cost of having something designed for us (cheap skates).

The MP3tag (another user here) download page suggests running it under WINE on Mac, would that be worth looking into?
