Lockdown Activities to Keep You Sane

Postby Ian Shaw » Thu Apr 23, 2020 9:42 am

Hi All,

Just wondering what people are filling there time with without their usual workload, routines, etc?

I keep thinking this should be the most creative time I've had years, but it seems not. I'm most dumbfounded by may lack of ideas at the moment, when there is so much to muse about in this strange new world we inhabit.

There are the obvious concerns around money, work, caring for aged parents in isolation, etc, but not having deadlines is often more difficult than having them, I find.

So how's everyone dealing with it?

All the best

Hi Ian,

Well the Virtual SOSage Meets certainly help - we had the latest meet yesterday evening (around a dozen participants in total, some of whom popped in and out as other commitments allowed), and do so on a fortnightly basis.

A good chat, some very welcome laughs, some discussions and demos of instruments...

A very good way to stay sane in these troubled times ;)
