It would be a good idea to provide some links to some of your existing work, or to tracks on SoundCloud or a similar music sharing platform so that people can evaluate your musical output before beginning a conversation.

This can save both you and potential contacts quite a lot of time as they can get a good idea in advance about the material you create!

I echo Eddy's advice - not only will access to some of your compositions open up more of a conversation with potential managers, it will also introduce you as a musician to our community.

If for some reason you don't want to post your work publicly, just upload some to privately to Soundcloud, and send us the link - that way we can listen but it won't be visible to the general public.
