Running Spitfire Albion One in LPX - piano sounding

Postby Adam Hutchins » Wed Jan 03, 2018 11:37 pm

Hi; I've bought Albion One today which is sounding fab apart from my still having a stock Logic piano sound running at the same time despite it not being loaded up.

Any suggestions as to how to get rid of the piano sound please?

It doesn't go through to the audio recording; I'm running one instance of Albion One per track at the moment in Komplete Player on a 2009 Mac Pro 2.26 8 core with 32gb of ram. Midi keyboard is an Axiom 61.

Cheers

You're doing something wrong, somewhere, or have some screwy routing or something!

Open the mixer, and play some notes. If you hear the piano sound, which channel is it coming up on in Logic?

If it' not coming up on a Logic channel, it's coming up from something else...

Can you post a screenshot, or upload a project file I can have a look at?

Hi Desmond

Thanks for this; you’ve helped me think outside the box & realised I must have had Sibelius still open!

Doh!

Cheers
