It is, but previous versions already worked OK in Catalina...

About the only thing that is then!

I use both Ableton and Logic, I like both although tend to use them for different things. The thing that drives me mad about Logic is the lack of choice regarding the colour palette for Track and Region colours. Yes, there are plenty of colours, but why can't I select black or white - like I can do in Ableton?

This may seem a bizarrely trivial complaint, but it really bugs me. I like to colour MIDI tracks to match the dominant colour of the sample library or software instrument I'm using - some of which are white or black!

It's certainly not the first time people have complained about the colours in LPX.

You used to be able to have black/white colours pre-LPX, but LPX had a lot of ground up re-tooling of the interface, and the colour system is one that was changed to only allow a limited palette of colors (it was extended a bit over time).

There is a trick to get black/white regions (setup them up in previous versions of Logic and import the data into LPX), but it's not really worth the effort really.

Again, the more people that send in feedback with these kinds of issues will maybe help work these things higher up in the priority list...
