No sound out of my MOTU 828 Mk3 firewire

I am trying to send the main output from my DP 9 to the analog 7-8 output pair of my 828 Mk3, but there is no sound coming out of the jacks, and there is nothing in the mixer channels, although the signal shows up in the meters ?

Sorted.
There was nothing wrong with the 828.
The fault was in the headphones I was using to test the outputs.
