USB 2 or 3 socket for USB interface?

Postby Dr Huge Longjohns » Thu Jul 23, 2020 10:31 am

My new mac has USB as well as Thunderbolt (USB3) ports. My Focusrite USB interface is currently plugged into the USB 2 port but would there be any advantage in plugging it into one of the THunderbolt ports instead via an adaptor cable? Cheers
