Just got this from UA:
Note that macOS 11 Big Sur supports Thunderbolt and PCIe‑based devices only; UA FireWire devices are incompatible.
Wont affect me, and in any case I will wait this time for Nuendo. Just switched to Nuendo 11 and in the learning curve.

Currently running a silverface Apollo over FW800, on a 2012 Mini.
But I also have a 2018 6-core Mini, I was planning on getting an X4 instead of buying the TB card, for an almost nine year old interface.
