UA Big Sur compatibility

Postby Howdy Doody Time » Wed Dec 16, 2020 6:46 am

Just got this from UA:

Note that macOS 11 Big Sur supports Thunderbolt and PCIe‑based devices only; UA FireWire devices are incompatible.

Wont affect me, and in any case I will wait this time for Nuendo. Just switched to Nuendo 11 and in the learning curve.

The only excuse we have for making music in the first place is to make it differently..vis-a-vis our own difference (Glenn Gould)

I saw that!

Currently running a silverface Apollo over FW800, on a 2012 Mini.

But I also have a 2018 6-core Mini, I was planning on getting an X4 instead of buying the TB card, for an almost nine year old interface.
