Apple Music not allowing me to sign-in on Pixel 3XL

When I try to sign-in to Apple Music, it keeps returning to the sign-in screen. I enter my ID/PW and it thinks about it for a bit and then goes back to the sign-in screen. I have un/reinstalled the app and cleared the Cache and temp files for the App. Any suggestions?

This is a music technology site for recording, synthesis, and live music. You would best be advised to ask on a forum dedicated to Pixel devices.

I would google it which may well bring up links to apple’s support forum.
I often find it quicker to do that than to go direct to the support forum.
