Fix tempo problem in Logic Pro X

Postby Marcus Bointon » Sat Apr 24, 2021 6:45 pm

i realised after I'd recorded a whole bunch of things that I'd got my tempo settings wrong in Logic Pro X and I've accidentally recorded everything at double-speed/half-tempo. It's at 45-61 bpm instead of 90-122. Everything is MIDI tracks, so I don't have the complication of audio to worry about! How can I simultaneously double the tempo and stretch everything 2x so that it all plays back at the same speed as it did before?

Never mind, I discovered the "half speed" transform preset in the piano roll editor, and that combined with a bit of part juggling and lengthening worked. It would have been tricky on a more complex track though.
