Logic tempo reverting to 120bpm

Postby kinglouis » Wed May 12, 2021 8:13 pm

Howdy,

I'm not sure when it started happening but at the moment, when I drag and drop a stylus rex file or Superior Drummer groove into Logic, whatever tempo the project is in reverts to 120bpm from that bar. Its not the end of the world but its pretty annoying… any ideas how to stop this happening please?!

Many thanks,

Alex

A Smart Tempo setting should cure this. Does the info on this page help?

Thanks Wonks, that's really helpful - I read it and went through the various settings - most importantly Keep Tempo but it still happens. In fact I tried every iteration of Keep, adapt, smart etc and back to Keep and it all results in defaulting to 120bpm when a Stylus RMX loop is dragged in.
