How to add the master channel to the timeline window for automation?? -Nuendo 3

Postby zaphin » Mon Apr 11, 2011 12:52 am

Good evening all,

This is yet another Nuendo 3 question - I'm working on a pretty huge file: 1 hour long, loads of tracks of poetry and soundscapes and I'm having to master out about 100 tracks from this. I'm looking to do fade in/outs for each of these but would prefer to just automate this on the master bus to save time.

I can't find a way to add the master channel to my timeline window though! Does anyone know how to do this?? It seems like it should be easy/simple, but I can't find any way.. The alternative is to create a group channel, but that might be complicated in other ways I think...

Thanks for any help,

Martin

there must be an easier way to do it but if you enable W on the master channel, play the song and move the fader, the automation track will appear. You can then erase that move and start drawing the automation you need.
