Following a recent install, the interfaces of a few 32-bit plug-ins have gone AWOL in 32-bit DAWs. A box appears which is the right size for the interface, but the content is missing. I can hear the plug-ins working, so that aspect is fine, but control has obviously gone.
Any ideas?

It would help if you told us what DAW(s) you experience the problem with. Which plugins and which version of Windows you are using.

E.g. Cubase 9.x only works with 64-bit plugins and its VST bridge support for 32-bit VST plugs has gone.

Win 10, using the little known (and still 32-bit) SawStudio and checking on an old 32-bit Cubase SX2. Problems occurring with iZotope RX7, Waves Vocal Rider and IZotope Vocal Doubler. These are all recent additions. The latter two were working fine until I installed iZotope RX7, or perhaps more importantly, uninstalled RX5 and RX6 before the new install. Re-installing RX6 hasn't helped (though those plug-in behave correctly). Other plug-ins that I've checked seem fine.
64-bit versions are working in 64-bit DAWs.
Someone who knows about plug-in graphics might be able to shed some light.

A shot in the dark, but these issue are most often caused by some change or issue in the video drivers - especially when like in your case it seems to be system level. Any update in that department recently?

Thanks - a good thought, but it doesn't look like there's been any driver changes.
Plug-ins frequently install the Microsoft C++ Redistributable as part of the installation, so I was wondering if there was an issue there. There's several versions on my system, and I wouldn't know where to start to identify a problem, if there is one.

If you open the event viewer, it could give you some hints of what's going on, even if the changes aren't as good as with a crash. But it really sounds like a driver issue. You could try and reinstall the graphic card drivers.

Thanks again. Event Viewer is not showing anything I can spot. Driver re-install hasn't helped, unfortunately.
I'm using J-Bridge to run the 64-bit versions of the plug-ins in 32-bit hosts, which is a handy workaround, but it would be nice to know what the issue is with the 32-bit version graphics.

Re: 32 plug-in interfaces have gone missing
Problem solved, thanks to Brian at iZotope:
"In most cases, a blank user interface is the result of running the latest Windows 1803 update and using applications that utilize your display settings (e.g. screen recording or screen sharing apps). To troubleshoot this issue, use Task Manager and Startup Items to disable any software that may be using your display settings. Apps that have proven to cause this issue include Bandicam, Playstv and Duet Display."
I uninstalled Duet Display and all 32-bit plug-ins are working perfectly now.

Good support from Izotope and good to know just in case.

Ignore the post count, I have no idea what I'm doing...
Re: 32 plug-in interfaces have gone missing
Indeed - other 32-bit plugs were affected too, so other people might well encounter the issue.
