Alternatives to Stylus RMX ?

Postby Bendy Carlos » Sat Nov 02, 2019 3:00 pm

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for alternative software to Stylus RMX ?

It has been my go-to drums / rex file software for the last 10 years, but I am increasingly frustrated at Spectrasonics and their awful tech support. Having just upgraded to Windows 10, parts of their software don't work and I want to find an alternative.

Am looking for software that will enable me to import rex files, and trigger those files from MIDI patterns.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Native Instruments drum packages or Steven Slate Drums, both have plenty of drum kits and midi files. They don’t address your need to trigger rex files but you’ll get some good triggered samples rather than slicing up drum phrases.
