converting scan to MIDI

Does anyone know how I would go about converting a score to MIDI from Scanscore? I want to scan in some sheet music I have and then convert it to MIDI so I can hear it played back

The software says it exports in MusicXML format.

This is apparently supported by most major music applications like Finale, Dorico, Sibelius, and MuseScore, Cubase, Logic Pro, Digital Performer, and SONAR.

Given that you want the MIDI for playback, I assume you have a DAW already, so see if whatever you use supports MusicXML first...
