Advice on Midi implementation - Cakewalk - TC Helicon

Postby Robi D » Sun May 16, 2021 8:27 am

I'm new here and this is my first post.

I'm looking for information/advice on how to. Here's the background.

I'm doing midi sequencing in Cakewalk and outputting it to a Roland Sound Canvas (via Midi).
I want to add vocal harmonies via something like TC Helicon Perform VK which can be set up with CC# and Patch Changes to trigger events.

Has anyone done this before? If so, what advice. I want the sequence to trigger all information regarding effects on the mic and also when harmonies come in and type of harmonies. The VK is for keyboard but I don't want to use it that way. Voice to guide the harmonies or I could put midi notes on the channel with the triggering events.

Hopefully someone has done this and can offer some guidance.
