Hi
Just curious, has anybody else had problems with the catches falling apart on your hard cases? They seem really poorly made or have I just got a bad 'un?
I've only had it 6 weeks, 3 catches have come off!! It's not even been gigged yet.
I'm debating sending it back, but it seems such a ball ache.
I got it from Thomann's.
Cheers

Re: Epiphone Guitar Case - Build Quality!!
99% of people will take their original case, put it in the loft, then buy something like a Gator or Hiscox instead. Use the original case only when you sell the guitar, they're not really made for taking on the road (and neither are the Gibson USA cases either for that matter).
Thanks

Shame, if I'd known that I could have saved myself £90 in the first place!
I'm really surprised at the quality for the price. I expected better.

I have an Epi jazz box (Emperor Regent), case has been fine, gigged loads and no loose bits yet. A student of mine has an Epi guitar that is falling apart tho, dunno about the case.

If it's faulty Thomann will arrange collection if you email them the details - it hardly seems to be up to the job, does it?

No it doesn't! Particularly as it's only through light use.
I emailed Thomann yesterday, waiting for a reply.
