2 narrow field humbuckers in middle and neck, 57/08 in the bridge. Only the bridge can be coil tapped. Mine is the same colour as the one in the photo (black gold top 10 finish).

I have the Core Studio 22 which is very versatile (and quite easy on the eye).

That's a lovely thing indeed, all humbuckers? Can you coil tap all 3 for just the bridge?

Hewesy

Thanks, Music Wolf,
It must have been the S2 Studio 22 I was thinking of. Those look to me like the D type single coils in the neck and middle positions.

Son has come back with more information. He can get a straight exchange it seems for the Rikky 330 and a PRS Sera but he is not keen on its Bigbsy trem. The shop has a Mira but that will be money as well as the 330.

Now I KNOW it is a "bit of string" but any ideas on the value of a 330 in good condition?

It's an '85 330 serial YF1129 (from an old thread).

Ugh, I knew I shouldn't have read this. I've been looking at the Starla for years...now I've suddenly got GAS again.

*edit*

fwiw, I have a USA pro strat with SD "surfer" antiquity pups. It doesn't sound anything like any PRS I've ever played...

That is some serious skills Wonks, nice one :-)

Looking at Reverb anything from £1100 - £1800 so it might be worth getting it appraised professionally if you have a vintage place nearby?

I turned 11 in 1985.

Is that helping?

This is about the only community I'm part of where I get to make that kind of joke, normally the boot is on the other foot. :)

My dad used to make fun of me for going out with a girl born in 1960. (Not now :D but back in the late 70’s)

Wow, what have I started?!

But in for a penny, I was 6 in 1979 and yes, I sadly suspect that is a vintage guitar now.

For balance the shoe is often on the other foot, for instance a young colleague recently discovered I own a "vintage" Kangol hat which was bought in 1994. They're now in fashion again (the hat, not me) so she wanted mine, which I nearly gave her until I realised the hat was 5 years older than she is...

Vintage smintage...
