Atomic Amplifire

Thinking of getting one of these.
There is a new one (6) which seems tricky to get hold of.
I have seen an used earlier version for sale.
Are these any good and would it be worth waiting to get hold of the latest model?
I have been using a POD pro for years but hopefully the Atomic would be an improvement?

The Atomic sounds very good, and more importantly, feels very good and responsive. I switched to use one live and I dont feel I have had to compromise my sound and playing. I treat it as another amplifier and adjust the pedals accordingly. No comparison with the POD.

My usual rig (which is now mostly for recording) is Mesa, VOX and Orange depending on the song.

I use the Amplifire for recording and find it excellent. The models are comprehensive and pretty realistic. I don't know about the later version maybe Atomic could help locating a dealer. Andertons used to sell them in the UK. I don't know if they still do.
