Delivered today at noon........at 6 pm i gave up on trying to get this thing up & running. Will not pair with the transmitter most of the time & when it does (After 50 seconds of turning the transmitter on) it makes a high pitched screeching noise.

Have yet to be able to get any sound on the odd occasion when it does connect.

Looks like a return. :headbang:

Clearly a faulty unit, will you ask for an exchange unit or a refund?

It's getting swapped out on Thursday Sam. I'll have another go with this model. :)

Did you ask Andertons to test the replacement before sending it out? I've done that with a faulty FX pedal and they did.

Also be aware that the Line6 G75 unit failed a German broadcast compliance test and supposed to be in the process of being updated to conform. However a year on and there is no sign of updated units or any information about what is going to happen to all the non-compliant ones already out there. This might be the reason why they are such "good value" in the UK at the moment...

The replacement came this morning & a very brief check ( due to decorating) showed that this one is ok.
Seems to have a good range. With the receiver downstairs & transmitter upstairs as far away as I could get there was no interference or drop outs.
Will get a proper test over the weekend.

Thanks again all. :)
