Such talent. I can only imagine how much practice went into this. I’m not a guitarist but a pianist, and this is a tricky piece on piano and at that speed. Well. Bravo.

Great! - buy several fuzz boxes, turn 'em up full through a delay pedal and wiggle your fingers quickly. With a bit of luck it should sound similar. You don't even need to grow callouses. Youtube is full of many examples of this type of 'hyped' guitar playing. Or you could watch vids of Legrene, Taylor, Emmanuel, DiMeola, etc as a contrast.

I’m not a guitarist, but it seems quite a technical accomplishment to play a classical piece for 6 minutes in seemingly one pass. I suspect no amount of overdrive and wiggling my fingers on my epiphone would get me close!!

It's not that I don't like cover versions......... :D

Wow, there's a lot of technical ability gone into that, especially for one pass - and I can't even make some of the left-hand shapes with a standing start, let alone play them at speed!

Incredible stuff, and look at her total focus.
Anyone else notice she has unusually long fingers, especially the first joint from the hand?

It really won't. She's playing specific sequences of notes virtually identical to the fast arpeggios and themes as written by Beethoven for the piano. Although very useful for multiplying the perceived tempo of certain things (I've used the trick a lot myself), delay isn't going to get you anywhere close with this material and the receipe you cite above would probably result in a muddy mess.

Further, the accuracy of the notes she's playing is astounding. I've seen a lot of good shredders but rarely have I seen articulation (outside of classical guitar) as precise as this, especially sustained for the duration she's demonstrating.

It's fun watching her play with such speed and dexterity, but musically it's pretty tedious, and I'd argue that it's not 'Moonlight Sonata' either.

Whatcha think, Ludwig?

- Nein!

I like the calm virtuosity with just a hint of passion and panache. Nice one.

I'm quite amazed, I tried electric guitar a couple of times and couldn't stop accidentally pushing notes out of tune. But then I was only capable of playing chords on a 12-string.

Here is another one...

I'll stick this one up again, to me it's much more impressive, original and far more musical. There is not much special about copying a solo note for note (as lovely as Gilmore's 'Comfortably Numb' solo is).

She's a French guitarist. I first saw a video of her years ago when she was much younger. Seems to have progressed pretty well over the years. Awesome technique.
