I imagine it helps to retract your claws too...

Thanks! I cannot remember for the life of me what the setup was for that track, I hope I never have to play it live! Pretty sure the guitar was tuned to DADGAD and the capo was at the third fret, but I can't remember which strings were capoed.

I often introduce my sweetie as my sister, oops I mean wife. :smirk:

SecretSam - you should only drink before posting from now on - thanks for the chuckle.

Hang on - maybe we need a forum where people can only post after having a few drinks. Now that could be fun . . . . Or not!

Really? :D

Oh I see. It's because he's really skinny. If he had to reach out to the first fret, his arm would snap off. It's a sort of surgical appliance in his case.

Instant gratification is actually pretty good. It's fast as well.

Haha I know what you mean about reluctancy to play these pieces live. I don't have a desire to do it either :D I prefer to do all the magic in the studio. That's what I love so much about the Beatles in their later years. All the time in the world to create these gorgeous tracks in the studio and not have to worry about replicating it live.

His most remarkable transformation is indeed from super skinny due to round middle aged man. The price of success and to be able to actually buy food and afford a car, I guess. Happens to the best :)

I've had some of that kind of success myself.

It's not helping that the gyms are closed.

See, this is what happens.

It starts with one day thinking you will just try a capo. Just to see what all the fuss is about. Just this once. You think you can handle it.

And it ends with you dying in a railway station toilet with a dirty, secondhand hypodermic in your thin, scabby arm.

Just practice your barre chords, kids. You know it's the right thing to do.
