Just spotted these, look interesting, but unfortunately just as expensive as an old tape echo.

I think EF-X2 is what petrolheads would call a 'restomod'. Nostaglia as you would like it to have been back in the day.

Yes, it’s a bit like Behringer making a reissue of something and charging just as much as an original, how mad would that be?
But unlike these people, since when have Behringer actually improved on the original?

Behringer stuff usually has USB & MIDI where appropriate, whereas the originals might only have had USA (filters) and the DIN socket was for saving to cassette.
