What a dumb place to put the socketery though - I want all of that nonsense round the back, shrouded and out of the way, not sticking out the side and making the pedals wider than necessary.

Just noticed that on their website. A bit unfortunate. I see it has a bi-directional USB MIDI connection which is nice.

That would be bits of half-digested worm from the hedgehog party.

Oh, you mean on the pedals! ;) That would be the Taurus bull symbol. Cute, isn’t he?

I can only see the small image and it just looks like a splodge. Are all these pedals sold out on pre-order? not that I could spring for one really, but the thought would be nice.

Edit: found a larger image of the bull

Image and I can make out the image a bit better now.

If anyone Moog-ish is reading this...

Can you tell me if the CV inputs this time will by 1 volt per octave, rather than the original Taurus 1's strange (by Moog standards) Hz/Volts system?

Looks like it's still Hz/V, because it is the original circuit:

But at least it has MIDI.

If you click on the image, you can see it enlarged. Standard fare with SOS pics which always resizes them down to a certain size.

I tried that but it was blocked on my work PC. Anyway I've seen a better image on the Moog site now. I wish I had more money....

The cape AND the wig, dude!

Hammond in the right hand, Mellotron in the left, Taurus pedals under my feet – aaah, now that just feels RIGHT! :D

can't play keyboards very well with my hands let alone my damn feet but i gotta say this is one of the most handsome bits of new kit i've seen in a long time ... i like the way moog are going ... the little phatty, terrible name great synth ... the guitar thing, expensive/ugly but undeniably innovative ... come on moog there's gotta be a poly synth in you surely?
