Logic's pianos v SampleTekk or Ivory?

Postby lukeandrewhill » Mon Mar 01, 2010 12:51 pm

General question from relative newbbie - I am thinking about geting a piano VI as I am not that happy with the pianos included with Logic - probably an obvious answer but would a dedicated piano sample library sound THAT much better a or am I better off keeping my cash and spending ages tooling around processing the sounds to sound better? Also, suggestions for sample libraries welcome!

Thanks

There's the new Alicia Keys Piano library from Scarbee & NI. Scarbee makes very highly regarded instrument libraries.

thanks - looks interesting - in the interim I got Sampletekk's Bosendorfer 290 as a stop gap and it sounds pretty nice. Easily installed into EXS24 (this sort of thing is still a worry to me which shows my newbieness) and sounds MUCH better than Logic's bundled pianos to my ears at least.

I'll check out NI's site - looks like lots of interesting downloadable instruments so thanks for the heads up.
