Indeed, lovely things. Adds to the confusion as to why they would produce a keyboard in testament to The Beatles when Korg own Vox and I'm pretty sure The Beatles weren't renowned for their keyboard music (until Billy arrived).

Both those guitars are still made and are quite reasonably priced. Perhaps they should glue an auto-accompaniment unit to the backs of them loaded with Beatles songs?

Wonder if it has a "Hey Preston" button to dial in fab EPs?

"all you need to do is play chords with your left hand, and the Liverpool automatically provides an accompaniment that matches the feel of the original song. Use your right hand to play the melody"

Well that CERTAINLY qualifies the Liverpool for its 'professional' tag :headbang:

Yeah, but Macca wrote a few well-covered piano-based classics in his Beatles days (Let It Be, The Long & Winding Road, Hey Jude, Lady Madonna etc) -- and John's 'Imagine' is still one of the most sublime piano songs going (even if it is post-Beatles).

Odd that they'd kick off preset #1 with 'Across The Universe' (though they've opted for alphabetic presets presumably for ease of recall?).

But if this proves to be a success, think of the huge opportunities for follow-on products!

the Korg Manchester
the Korg Birmingham
the Korg Widdlewoodlewick

What fabled artists could be associated with each of these?

and if it is 'the Liverpool' and not 'the Fab', why did they stop at the Beatles? Could have included Cilla, Frankie and Jerry at the very least, perhaps even The Scaffold's greatest hit might have made an appearance on a plug-in ROM...

Finally, a product limited only by the manufacturer's imagination.

Again, more mini-keys. Or have they missed a trick and should have made them look like a 1960's BMC Mini keys?

I could almost forgive it if it wasn't for that ghastly massive Union Jack slapped on the front... Tacky, terrible, bad taste and then there's the actual instrument itself.

They're short and stubby, but might be full width. I don't ever intend finding out in the flesh though.

Not brilliant, but it's hard to ruin something as good as Penny Lane, which actually sounds good. Wonder which vocalists they got in?

Can't see a problem with a keyboard like this myself. But then again, I own a Yamaha DJX, so my taste is questionable!

Some of the sounds are very mid-90s GM. Some are actually fairly realistic though, I'll give them that, but the drums were terrible on the clips I listened to.
