Re: the latest Behringer-gate
My guess too. It would make sense. Maybe it's a Eurorack keyboard into which any of the same format modules can slot.Wonks wrote:A Model D with a keyboard?

It's a power up option that enables the hidden extra 5 voices they put in there to turn it into a Memorymoog... :headbang:

Indeed you’re right! Looks like a pretty fantastic piece of kit then.N i g e l wrote:There look to be full size 1/4" jacks on the back. The mini jacks on the top are for when you take it out of the [Euro] case and fit it into your Eurorack system.

Good grief. The person doing that 'demo' clearly has no idea what a notch filter is! :roll:DGL. wrote:Introducing the WASP DELUXE,

Good Lord. It's a monster :o
There's some real thought gone into this. Mind you, I wonder how many will ever be used beyond a fraction of their capabilities.

Where will this all end? :headbang: :headbang:
It’s not my bag but I can see there’s a huge market here. Interestingly I went to a large music store recently (they are thin in the ground these days around these parts) and whilst the keys section had a few full size boards, a prophet x, Fantom, montage etc, All the action was around the behry, volcas and boutiques. I had a prophet to myself for half an hour :D
As long as sequential, Moog, Modal etc can retain market and innovate.

Re: the latest Behringer-gate
:wtf:
I'm going to need a bigger studio...
I wouldn't have been the slightest interested in this as a poly (much like the old Korg MonoPoly), but the provision of a nice chorus turns it into a half-decent poly.
So, a 4-oscillator MiniMoog... Where do I queue?

Right behind the scruffy looking guy with long hair, though that doesn't narrow it down much probably. It might be best to try a directional mic to identify where the sound of all those crying wallets is coming from

Re: the latest Behringer-gate
Actually it is me who is at the front of the queue, not that I can afford it at the moment.
But you have to admit no one has ever released synths at such a rate, excluding eurorack manufacturers possibly. Looks like their synth gamble is paying off.
If only other long established manufacturers could do the same and with fullsize keys from the outset, but Roland and Korg do like their minikeys on synths :madas:
