Hmmm... the audio equivalent of Michaelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel.

If there's a list put me on it, and the BCS3 too, it's all great, and if these sound as good as the "D" then I'll be perfectly happy.

Our designers decided to modulate the LED’s for the envelope curve etc. so you can see the actual signal process. Once we have signal going though we’ll do a quick video.

That's a very neat trick. Not entirely sure how useful it will actually be, but certainly adds 'Wow' factor :bouncy:

I'm glad this isn't likely to appear until next year, I'm skint!

I've got mine open on the table, and am jolting it with mains voltages in a desperate attempt to revive it :D

Not trying to put a damper on this but I've owned 2600s before and as good as they are they wouldn't be first on my list of wants. Now, if you can find the blue or grey meanie then I'm down with that.

Same here.

This year I have to spend thousands on a kitchen refurb.

Why can't I spend all my spare cash on synths ?

Being an adult really sucks sometimes.

Given yours and my differing preferences for the sound of Roland vs. Yamaha synths, I'm taking that as a strong indication I'll love the 2600 :D

Waste of money, it'll only get dirty again - much simpler to just polish the greasy bits

More updates from Uli @ Gearslutz,
First batch of odysseys are ready and Thomann have air freighted some so they should have a small amount of stock soon, next batch should be ready at the end of the month.

Shipping delays have been due to beta tester feedback and feature/function addition.

...And Andertons are saying 11th Sep. price £399!, that's ~£170 cheaper than even the mini korg odyssey! (and ~£50 less than the module), but the Behringer has effects, a metal case, light up faders, has a built in arp/sequencer, has all 3 filters, is full size and has decent full size keys (assuming the same keys as the VC340/MS101).

Even though I have the Korg full-size this is a stone cold 'take my money'. As long as it works as expected it's an absolute winner.

Absolutely, and at £399 it's just beyond belief, it's a question of why not? This is all getting really crazy now. If they've cracked it like the D, it's a no brainer.

...and, for anyone that wonders, yes I *will* be getting the PSU mounted inside the case!

Behringer are usually pretty good on this point, but they've let me down with the Odyssey, for some reason.

Although go to Thomann and it's only €432 which is £388 so even more of a no brainer. Plus it looks like it now has multicoloured LED's rather than the white one the prototypes had, I guessing to recreate the original fader caps.
