Is there any chance someone can break into Dave's place and reset all of his calendars?
Have started something far too ambitious and could really use an extra month or two... Failing that, I've started really early for the challenge that'll hopefully be running this time next year

I could do with an extended deadline too - but not because I’ve started anything too ambitious. I haven’t started anything at all :headbang:

I think I've got something. Fairly short, and no title yet.

Cor, there's some clever buggers around here! We've had our first two entries already. Congrats to both who PM'd with links - files are downloaded and stashed safely.

Of course, it's all the more embarassing for me as I've not even started mine. And there's only 11 days to go. Still, I should be able to spend some time at the weekend and kick it off. I can hear bits of it in my head already. If I don't start soon, it will be another 11th hour job.

I did say end of Sunday the 16th .. didn't I? ;)

Feeling smug. I've started mine. A week early no less. It even vaguely resembles my initial idea .. sort of ... a bit ..

I vote we just trap him down a dark alley and mug him for them.... :D

I was feeling smug on Sunday. Yesterday, I listened back to it on earbuds and was less smug - I may need to tinker some more. Or I may just leave it. Oh dear. I see where this is going ... another few days of umming and ahhing and then a mad panic on Sunday evening....

On the positive side, your consistent, repeatable process makes you practically ISO9000 compliant... ;)

He's been mainly filling out the risk assessment form so far.

Now even grumpier than Ivan in his heyday.

I fear no risk assessment form!

That's why they call me "Dangerous Dave" :)

I started with good intentions but unfortunately work commitments mean that I’ll have no time to complete my entry so I’ll have to bow out of this one.

Looking forward to hearing what you all come up with though!

We'll soon fix that once you've heard what some of us have done ;) (speaking purely with regard to my own ill-formed creation)
I realised my smug "I've got a whole weekend still" feeling is misplaced as am away from first thing Saturday morning until Monday, so only have one and a bit days to finish :?

So, if my maths is right (and someone should really double check it as I'm at work and as such can only count up to ten), then we had 14 people express in interest (on this thread or PM), one of whom has just bowed out. And I've had 5 entries already.

Gosh! :D

I'm guessing that we won't get everyone but I'll be fascinated to see how many we do get in the end.

So, question for when these are all in :

Should I 'anonymise' the files? ie. rename 'Synth Challenge Magnus Opus #4' as 'entry1' etc?

Likewise, should I let you know who responded? Is there some fun in trying to guess _really_ blindly?

Onwards ... upwards ... yada yada ... ;)

Sorry, I'm going to have to bow out - life has got in the way of fun :(

Entry 1/2/3/4/5 etc and a list of names (rather than completely blind guesses) sounds like a good approach.

Blind guesses for sure, and indeed blind answers - assuming I make the deadline I'm not sure I want to be associated with what I've done
