Wow, some great work there
I think Martin should also get some sort of special award for his impromptu effort at naming them all

Phew! I'm glad that my comments were taken in the enthusiastic spirit in which they were intended - I was truly impressed at the quality and incredible diversity of these entries ;)

I personally think that Martin had these names on file for years and was just waiting for the right time to use them ....

:D

So, any initial thoughts as to who may have written what? Anything jump out?

Would a list of who submitted help?

Without knowing who'd entered I'd guess that Ben Asaro is likely to have done track No. 2 as it sounds very Chiptune like. It's something Martin Walker could also have done, but he is normally far more sophisticated in his output these days.

Now even grumpier than Ivan in his heyday.

Martin - I'm always stuck for deep and witty titles. You are my goto titler from now on!

Why thank you kind sir - always happy to oblige!

To be honest, I was amazed just how many references popped into my head as I listened to these tracks, yet just how varied they were

Just listened through - what variety - I set myself the challenge to see if I could easily determine the softsynths from the analogues - (they say you can do that easily on GS) - well I couldn't! :headbang:

The variation is great - I love some of the distorted sounds next to the more jarre- like pads and strings - I'm going to listen again and see if I can nail the synths... :bouncy:

Well done Dave - big slap on the back is well in order!

Just finishing listening at work, couldn't wait fit this evening! Some good stuff, a couple that I really wanted to go on for longer. I guess I'll have to attempt some sort of review later.

How does the voting work?

Ooh, that's got me guessing now Rich ;)

However, I could just say that whatever inspired your track came through loudly and clearly

I can at least guess what track is mine without listening, based on Martin's descriptive titles.

Will have a listen to these when I can.

Hooray - I've obviously discovered a latent talent!

(I'd have preferred a latent superpower, but hey, who's complaining? ;) )
