Hi folks, I have been sitting on the sidelines for this one, as I have been stupidly busy at work. I had got up at 5:30 to write a report, on the morning Dave published OSC3, so was one of the first to hear it. Problem was, I was trying to work and wanted some nice background music, and OSC3 wasn’t it! I kept thinking ‘that sounds like Eddie’s chops’ or ‘what kind of FM is that?’... Argh, all too interesting, too lovely and too distracting.
Still have not had the time to properly sit down, listen, and compare to the performers’ notes, which would be fascinating. Really looking forward to the chance to do that.
Just want to say a big ‘well done’ to all for the fantastically musical and talented work, and especially big thanks to Dave for organising. From quite a few of the comments, it’s obvious that you are driving some folks to move beyond acquiring gear to actually using it to make music, and that is a most noble cause. Hope to be able to join in next time around and, yes, actually use some of my gear. Meanwhile, I’ll seek inspiration from your great works.
Final thought, this has got to be one of the most friendly and supportive places on the web. Unbeatable. As Elf said a while back, “Can you feel the love?”
