I just saw this in SOS news.

As it's 5 minutes from my house, the only thing keeping me from going would be my zany work schedule.

Looks like fun!

Ahh, I'm a little bit jealous. A little further away I know, but one of my favourite places in the world is Santa Cruz - spent many happy days hanging out there in my spare time during my regular (sometimes almost monthly) visits to CA during the 10+ years I was working for Silicon Valley startups!

I'll be back ;)

Some of my musical works.
I had a weird time in Surrey once, but that was a drummer's fault.

Mine too! Stayed there several times to visit Universal Audio when the AES shows were held in San Francisco. Fabulous place.

Santa Cruz is a beautiful place! I do love the entire US west coastline. One of the things I’d love to do again is make the long slow drive from LA up to Washington along the coast. Each area evolves into it’s own distinct feel.

There's a house on 17-Mile Drive that I will possess one day... Anywhere along that coast is fine by me - one of my very favourite places!

You'd get stopped at the state line Elf. You kinda look a bit ethnic dude. Actually, you are, you're from Sheffield no? Definite ethnic. BTW, ethnicity is defined by how well an accent is understood.
