Boesendorfer 290 ewql Platinum vs Yamaha P515 sound

Postby forumuser807475 » Sun Aug 04, 2019 4:43 pm

I have had the EWQL pianos for some time and have always found the sound more inspiring than other samples. That said, I mostly play on a Yamaha p255. I am thinking of upgrading to the p515 for a number of reasons, but chief among them are the two main pianos. Yamaha CFX and Boesendorfer 290 Imperial.
Anyone who has both, can you please tell me how they compare head to head or point me to a resource that compares them? I haven't had any luck searching the web for such a comparison.

ps. I get a max 100 polyphony on the vst even on SSD and with 32gb of ram and a fast processor, and 256 is the count on the p255, with the p515 having that same spec. The p515 also has a working sostenuto pedal like the p255 which EWQL seems to lack.
