Hi all
I’d like to find a keyboard/synth that has onboard multitrack recording facilities, for creating fairly basic demos etc all in the box ie not using a pc.
I found an older solution - Roland Juno Gi, which has an right track built in as well as audio inputs for guitar and mic which is absolutely ideal - but they’re few and far between these days (released in about 2010)
Does anyone know of anything similar, perhaps a bit more up to date, and not too pricey!
Thanks

Roland Fantom X series - make sure that it has v2 software. They go dead cheap and its whole raison d'etre is to be a fairly self contained workstation with some audio as well as synth stuff in its sequencer. I didn't get along with it as I didn't need that kind of machine, but it sounds just like the sort of thing you are looking for.

If you want a slightly later model, then the Fantom G series is more of the same. Just later. Bigger screen as well.

Does the audio side have to be built in ?
otherwise you could use a seperate audio multitrack and sync them.
- a lot of the smaller guitar multitrackers dont have sync.

Well not necessarily but since I saw that the Juno gi has that facility I kind of like the idea, as it makes the whole process extremely portable.
I do have a synth and multi tracker at the moment so I may just stick with that until maybe I get lucky with a Juno gi!
Thanks
