I stumbled across this Australian TV item about the early Fairlight CMI with Peter Vogel:

I had forgotten the sound of big floppy disk drives! :lol:

I still have a ‘Fairlighted’ 8” floppy, created when I was mucking about on Mutt Lange’s machine once, learning Page R (although God knows why I keep it as I have zero chance of running it these days!)

Many of them good :bouncy: I know like other contemporary machines they weren't the most reliable of machines.
