Agreed, FFS, the Boog switched to multiturn trimmers early on in the production due to issues during user calibration with the single turn ones, and that's a £300 synth!

Single turn presets only really work reliably if there is a very small range to adjust, and the controls themselves are stable regarding temperature, humidity and vibration. Carbon track ones perform very poorly on all counts.

Sorry yes, that's what I meant but phrased badly – single turns are OK at times, less OK at others. I'm surprised they didn't employ better trimmers.

The KORG MS20 & -M desktop kits were limited edition from >5 years ago yet there is now an MS20-FS {Full Size, not mini like the mini version}.

Dont forget the fixed costs, design & machine programming spread over 500 units as opposed to how many for the amp ? 5000 ?
