Lifeforms SV-1 help

Postby synth182749 » Wed Jan 29, 2020 5:56 pm

I just got a lifeforms sv-1 for my eurorack. Works great apart from the frequency knob on oscillator 1 doesn't change the pitch at all, the sound just stays at the same frequency. However, if I twist it all the way left or right the sound cuts out, so I know it must be connected to the circuit board in some capacity.
Does anyone have any ideas on how fix this?
Thanks :)

Did you buy it new or used? Are you sure you have enough power available for the SV-1?

It was B stock, so should be working fine. Think I have enough power as every other aspect works great, including the frequency on oscillator 2 and the LFO.

perhaps it could've been damaged in transit

That's kinda what it's sounding like to me as well. I would unplug a couple of modules and try it again just to verify that it's not a power draw issue.

Before you send it back, ask on the Muffwiggler Forum, if you haven’t done so already, SOS is great, but Muff's is it for anything modular.
