Well, yes! it's here already, I’ve got it.
I don’t like Wurlitzer's, they are always attractive, the idea of them, then when I play them they just sound weird, very weird, no connection for me.

Supertramp made a whole career out of them, they have more bite/attack than Rhodes I think, certainly not 'weird' but I do like both in virtual form and my Roland Rhodes.

Weird was the wrong word, it just doesn’t seem expressive enough to me, not as floaty as a Rhodes.

Tricky though, still no Rhodes, I think I’ll stick with the iPad.

Erm... Which Mellotron App, Arpy? There’s a few, and some have very poor reviews.

Also, did you see the rack unit on this site?

I can’t remember which app I’ve got, I’ll tell you later,
Yes, that rack looks really cool, I almost bought it, but still no Rhodes!

And one from me as well 'Tubular Bells For Two': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9TK17SurP_g

I was lucky enough to attend a performance by this talented pair at the 'Hall For Cornwall' and it was stunning - we gave them a standing ovation!

I'm also lucky enough to occasionally work with a guitarist who has worked extensively with Mike Oldfield - Nico Ramsden is a stunning player, and his wonderful solos feature on three tracks of our forthcoming 'Revisited' album.

Here he is (in white), performing with Mike at Knebworth way back in 1980:

What a blast! He’s no slouch to keep up with Mike.

Enjoyed that.

Very true, and Mike is a tough taskmaster by all accounts (I've met his brother Terry too - the flute player).

Nico has played with loads of other well-known musicians during his professional career - to be honest, I've just been gobsmacked to discover this list

We're really lucky to have him guesting on our albums 8-)

I always liked Mike Oldfield, TB is a big influence, but I really like his work with Kevin Ayers and The Whole World.
