OK so actually it's for kids, not dogs, but I'm sure a well-trained dog could also operate it if you left it on the carpet.

It came up in the net after today's trawl for eBay gadgets, and at that price it might be worth a punt. Andrew Huang made a banging track out of it.

That's rather impressive... a very cool idea, and well executed too.

Nicely designed - with a bit of a Dr. Who feel methinks

All synths should be like this

I looked at these, but can’t you put a synth in anything? it’s all getting a bit like, how different can we be. I’m after one of these....

I have a US friend who owns some Ciat-Lonbarde gear, and he loves it!

I must admit that its wood design appeals to me too 8-)

I think the thing about the DUO is that it's designed to be played by two people.
Which i think is quite a nice way of spicing things up.

That’s an interesting one, make an instrument that can "only" be played by two people.

I’m not sure about this, I’m torn, I can see the potential, but it’s so painfully different in a very self conscious way, like a lot of off-the-shelf experimental gear right now, which is sort of a contradiction in terms, experiments are normally done with stuffy you can’t buy, that you have to make yourself.
Mind you, there is a lot of very interesting stuff out there, the Soma stuff, I really like that Pulsar 23 that’s very tempting.

Yes, considering that coupling is one of the main drivers of human existence it's perhaps surprising there aren't more things made for two. Apart from the obvious, there's tandems, and...was there anything else...?

A while ago I came across a weird and wonderful concept synth that was designed for two people sitting opposite; I think it was some kind of dual ribbon controller, but I haven't been able to find it again yet.

The musical tandem...that can be your next Kickstarter Arpangel. You might want to incorporate strange noises and electrical fields in it also.
