It was William Coakley. Very nice guy and a perfectionist. He helped me out with my sample set, back when 64MB of RAM in anything was a big deal. I never had the pleasure of playing that sample set, but I doubt he would've allowed an obvious flaw like that. The card vendor doesn't say anything at all about where the samples are coming from.
