Great player, love his style.
Superb technical ability, extremely versatile, can do anything, which is what you want if you hire him.
But.....he has this front, like his playing, would the real Jordan Rudess please stand up?
A lot of high profile players you can tell are just themselves, but he does come across like a full on salesman sometimes, and all those product endorsements don’t help the image, not that it bothers me personally.

Thanks for that link, very interesting indeed!. Specially when he talks about being in the proper headspace when playing. What he says, I think, applies to any style and musician, regardless of proficiency level, and it´s many times an overlooked issue.
