Was it a cover version, or is Soundcloud identifying it wrong or something?

Is it me, or is there a lot of Prophets going on, this time around..?

The composer had a track which didn't make it into the last challenge, but was still in the spirit of it, so they submitted that. Unfortunately, in the meantime, it had been published by their publishing company and copyright lodged. Soundcloud blocked it straight away and, I guess, we are both waiting to see if we can get the third party to permit its use.

There was also a copyright issue after the last challenge and one of the tracks was taken down. Again, this was because the piece (in a re-worked form) was published after the challenge and Soundcloud was 'smart' enough to detect the OSC version (which I understand was effectively the demo) as being a violation and took it down. In that case, I was unable to get it re-instated (the copyright claim dispute was rejected - even though I had permission from the composer themselves - go figure).

Hey ho ... we live and learn. If it works, it works. Otherwise, we get a (rather nice) bonus track to listen to. From where I sit (or perch as I am currently on a stool), it's all good ....

:D

Well that was more than pleasant to listen through. Stirling work everyone.
And once again I am staggered that these were all done on a single synth.

P.s. Was 13 Eddy D?

Depends how you define 'lots'. I can confirm that there is more than 1 entry using a Sequential, but less than 3 ... unless yours is as you won't tell me!!! ;)

Great stuff! I have no idea who did what. I barely recognize what I did because I've never done anything quite like it before :D

Some lovely tracks there.

I'm tempted to try and cross-reference the styles of the previous challenge with this challenge to see if can spot similarities.

I've never liked a solo violin, you need at least five for a proper fire.

Well that brightened up a Monday morning!

Been through them all now, lots of different styles but all such good quality.
Normally I have a favourite but this time there are four or five I'd quite happily play on rotation.

Blimey if people can do this one one synth kind of makes you wonder why we all have soo many!

Hmm law of averages, and given the forums chatter there has surly got to be a Hydrasynth in there somewhere.....

There is indeed a Hydrasynth in there somewhere. And Folderol should keep us all guessing as he has done something quite different from his usual tracks.

Well, the hydrasynth has to be Eddy - I don't think anyone else on the list of suspects has one.
As for me... {snigger} :shh:

Someone else on the list of suspects must either have one, or have access to one.

My track was done on an analogue device ;)

This is also the first OSC where I've had real difficulty identifying your track Will ... and now I'm suspecting that my guess was wrong!

Hmm, I'm re-evaluating my earlier guesses and I'm currently plumping for Will on track 2, and Rich H. on track 9.

I'm also thinking track 14 sounds a bit Hydrasynth-y now, but I don't trust my ears any more!

(I also got as far as decoding the first three letters, which make sense ...)
