Checking in - we're getting on towards the half way point for this thing.

How's everyone doing? Started yet? Got an idea? Picked a synth?

Remember, we're about two weeks in with about three weeks to go, and we've been given the lovely gift of another month of lockdown, so put down yer lunch, pick up yer synths and get started, before it's too late!!

Yes, I've been tinkering with mine in the gaps and although it's got a ways to go I'm comfortable with progress so far.

Doing something a little different this time round both in terms of the music and the workflow, which is a bit of a challenge, but it's fun as well and that's the whole point after all!

I’ve done a version but going to revisit. I’m using something brand new so consequently suffering from the “ooh didn’t know it could do that, I’ll put that on” and creating a complete mess. Fun mess though!

I was incredibly quick, won the prize for first entry. (1 x jelly baby.)

There will be some people bleating about extensions no doubt...NO! Get on with it.

Though it pains an old Whovian to say this, I'm out of jelly babies. Please don't tell Tom Baker....

Have a giant chocolate button instead..

I'm thinking using my Moog Grandmother to control a synth that doesn't have a keyboard. Is it ok to use the Moog's arpeggiator and sequencer? All the sound will come from the other synth.

Sure. I'm sure many of us are using a sequencer to record/control their synths of choice.

I might, just, possibly, have an idea. I'll have to get my skates on, as from the 25 onwards I'll be deeply engrossed either in the on-line Linux Audio Conference, or some (boring) brain burgling software stuff.

I'm not finding time to get this one done. TBH I have a streamed live gig shortly, for which I'm creating a rig in the studio, and so much new mix work landing every day it's hard to know where to start! :headbang:

I hope I don't end up dipping out of this one, but at the moment I'm running to slip backwards.

Indeed. I've submitted two now :D Admittedly the second one was tossed off in about three hours as I was just trying something out of curiosity, but I thought I'd submit it anyway.

I’ll have something this time. Tracks are recorded. It just needs to simmer in the mixing pot for awhile.
